Whitesville - Mrs. Harriett Smith died at her home Friday morning after a long illness. She leaves to mourn her departure four sons and one daughter, two brothers, and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral was held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Greenway of Ladoga conducted the services. Interment at Harshbarger cemetery.

Ladoga, Sept 2 - Harriet J. Smith, an aged lady of near here, died Friday at noon at her home. Death resulted from senility. The deceased was born in Ohio, Nov. 16, 1833, of native Hoosier parents. She came to Indiana when quite young and after residing here for several years married John W. Smith, who has been dead for some time. The funeral in charge of Rev. Greenway, pastor of the Methodist Church here, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence. Interment will be at Ladoga. -= thanks to Kim H for these
